Book a demoWhat Flominzo does for payment businesses in India
Flominzo gives payment businesses in India agentic payments with 100% reconciliation. Your team, or an AI agent working inside the mandates and limits you set, turns a request into a controlled payment instruction. Flominzo then reconciles every payment against the provider’s response, the settlement report, and your bank statement.
100% reconciliation means every payment ends either matched against independent evidence - the provider’s records, the settlement file and the bank statement - or as an open exception with an owner and a reason. None is silently assumed paid.
It is built for payout platforms, lenders and insurers disbursing funds, remittance businesses paying out inbound transfers, bill-payment aggregators, and finance teams. Flominzo is operated from Gurugram. Flominzo is connected through rail adapters to the providers you use; rails, markets and activation are agreed for your deployment.
Indian payment rails and what reconciling them involves
India’s rails are fast and heavily used, and each returns its own reference. The reference is the thread that connects your instruction, the provider’s response, and the bank credit, so it must be captured at every stage.
| Rail | What it is | What reconciliation has to prove |
|---|---|---|
| UPI | NPCI’s real-time payment system, addressed by UPI ID or account, used for collections and payouts. | A payment can sit in a pending or deemed state before its final outcome, and a failed debit may be reversed later. Match on the UTR or RRN across the provider response and the bank statement. |
| IMPS | NPCI’s instant interbank transfer service, available around the clock, addressed by account and IFSC. | Timeouts and pending statuses are common. Resolve them by status lookup against the UTR, never by sending the payout again. |
| NEFT | RBI’s interbank transfer system, available around the clock and settled in half-hourly batches. | Credits land in batches and returns arrive later. Tie each return to the original payment and its batch. |
| RTGS | RBI’s real-time gross settlement system for high-value payments, with a minimum of ₹2 lakh. | Fewer, larger items. Match each one exactly to the statement and any charges. |
| BBPS (Bharat Connect) | The Bharat Bill Payment System, run by NPCI Bharat BillPay, for bill payments with biller confirmation. | Payment, biller fulfilment, and settlement are separate events. A successful payment with no biller confirmation is an exception, not a success. |
Typical flows in India
- Inbound remittance: transfers from the UK, US, UAE, Canada, and Australia, credited to Indian bank accounts over domestic rails such as IMPS and NEFT.
- Domestic payouts: loan disbursals, insurance claims, gig and seller earnings, and refunds over UPI, IMPS, and NEFT.
- Bill payments: bills paid through BBPS, where fulfilment and settlement must both be proven.
- Business payments: vendor runs and payroll, with each line reconciled on its own reference.
Flominzo keeps the original instruction separate from every execution attempt, so a pending UPI or IMPS payout is investigated, not duplicated.
Regulation and your licence
The Reserve Bank of India regulates payment systems and authorises payment aggregators, including cross-border payment aggregators. NPCI operates UPI and IMPS, and BBPS through NPCI Bharat BillPay. Cross-border flows are governed by the Foreign Exchange Management Act.
Flominzo keeps the evidence and decision history your compliance and audit teams need: what was instructed, what each rail and provider reported, what settled, and who decided each exception.
Flominzo is software. It works through your licensed providers and banks, and your authorisation, KYC, and reporting obligations stay with you. Nothing on this page is legal or regulatory advice.
Bank statements and files
Flominzo’s statement parsers today read ISO 20022 camt.053 and camt.052, SWIFT MT940, and configured CSV layouts. Ask your bank whether it can deliver MT940 or camt.053 for your accounts; CSV layouts are configured for each bank. Spreadsheet exports and other bank-specific formats are assessed during scoping. Provider settlement reports and BBPS settlement files are mapped as evidence sources for your deployment.
How payment reconciliation worksWhere to start
Start with one flow: for example, IMPS payouts from one provider, or one day of UPI payouts and their reversals. Flominzo reads your existing transaction records and the evidence around them, and runs in parallel with your current process. Your systems keep their jobs while it runs.
- Map: agree identifiers, amounts, currencies, business dates, and which system owns each record.
- Run alongside: reconcile the same period your team already closed, and compare the results.
- Explain: every difference becomes an exception with its evidence, so you can see what the current process missed or resolved by hand.
- Decide: expand to more rails, corridors, or execution only when the agreed checks are met.

Questions
How does Flominzo handle a pending UPI or IMPS payout?
It records the attempt as an unknown outcome and resolves it by status lookup and settlement evidence. It never sends the payout again to find out.
Does Flominzo replace our payout provider or bank?
No. Flominzo connects to the providers and banks you already use, reads their records, and reconciles them.
Can Flominzo reconcile inbound remittances?
Yes, as a flow: the overseas instruction, the partner’s settlement, and the domestic credit are linked on one payment record and reconciled together.
Do AI agents move money?
No. Agents investigate and explain. Execution runs through deterministic controls, and the mandates, limits, and approvals you set govern every payment.
