Flominzo gives US payment businesses agentic payments with 100% reconciliation. Your team, or an AI agent working inside the mandates and limits you set, turns a request into a controlled payment instruction. Flominzo then reconciles every payment against the provider’s response, the settlement report, and your bank statement.
100% reconciliation means every payment ends either matched against independent evidence - the provider’s records, the settlement file and the bank statement - or as an open exception with an owner and a reason. None is silently assumed paid.
It is built for money transmitters, payout platforms, marketplaces, insurers and lenders paying out claims or loans, and finance teams that need every payment explained. Flominzo is connected through rail adapters to the providers you use; rails, markets and activation are agreed for your deployment.
US payment rails and what reconciling them involves
The US runs batch, instant, high-value, and card rails side by side. Each one confirms, settles, and returns payments differently, so the same payout can look finished on one record and open on another.
| Rail | What it is | What reconciliation has to prove |
|---|---|---|
| ACH | Batch credits and debits under Nacha rules, with standard and Same Day ACH settlement windows. | Returns arrive later with a reason code, such as R01 for insufficient funds or R03 for no account, and must be tied to the original entry and reversed in the ledger. |
| RTP | The Clearing House’s real-time network, with immediate, final settlement. | The confirmation is fast and final, so the check is that each confirmation matches an instruction you made and a line on your statement. |
| FedNow | The Federal Reserve’s instant payment service, available around the clock. | As with RTP, the instant response must agree with your records and your bank’s reporting, including payments your bank received on your behalf. |
| Fedwire Funds | High-value, same-day settlement between banks, using ISO 20022 messages. | Large single amounts, so match the message, the statement line, and any fees exactly. |
| Push-to-card | Payouts to debit cards through card network services such as Visa Direct and Mastercard Move. | The card network’s approval is a claim. Settlement arrives in network and processor reports that must be matched to each payout. |
Typical US flows
- Outbound remittance: a USD collection, an FX step, and a payout in corridors such as Mexico, India, and the Philippines, by bank transfer, cash pickup, or wallet.
- Earnings and marketplace payouts: sellers, drivers, creators, and contractors paid by ACH, instant rails, or push-to-card.
- Claims, refunds, and disbursements: insurance claims, loan disbursements, and refunds where each payment needs its own proof.
- Business payments: vendor runs and payroll where a submitted batch is not the same as a settled one.
Flominzo keeps the original instruction separate from every execution attempt. A timeout on an instant rail is an unknown outcome to resolve by status lookup, never a reason to pay twice.
Regulation and your licence
Money services businesses register with FinCEN and carry Bank Secrecy Act and anti-money-laundering obligations. Money transmission is licensed state by state, and remittance transfers to other countries carry consumer disclosure requirements under the CFPB’s remittance rule in Regulation E.
Flominzo keeps the payment evidence and decision history those programmes rely on: what was instructed, what each provider claimed, what settled, and who decided each exception.
Flominzo is software. It works through your licensed providers and banks, and your licensing, AML, and consumer-protection obligations stay with you. Nothing on this page is legal or regulatory advice.
Bank statements and files
Flominzo’s statement parsers today read ISO 20022 camt.053 and camt.052, SWIFT MT940, and configured CSV layouts. Many US banks deliver BAI2 files, and a growing number also offer ISO 20022 camt.053. BAI2 and other bank or processor layouts are assessed during scoping; ask your bank which formats it can deliver. Nacha return files and card network settlement reports are mapped as evidence sources for your deployment.
How payment reconciliation worksWhere to start
Start with one flow: for example, USD to MXN bank payouts, or one day of ACH payouts and their returns. Flominzo reads your existing transaction records and the evidence around them, and runs in parallel with your current process. Your systems keep their jobs while it runs.
- Map: agree identifiers, amounts, currencies, business dates, and which system owns each record.
- Run alongside: reconcile the same period your team already closed, and compare the results.
- Explain: every difference becomes an exception with its evidence, so you can see what the current process missed or resolved by hand.
- Decide: expand to more rails, corridors, or execution only when the agreed checks are met.

Questions
Does Flominzo hold funds or act as a money transmitter?
Flominzo is software. Funds move through the licensed providers and banks you work with, and your licensing obligations stay with you.
How are ACH returns handled?
A return is new evidence for an existing payment. Flominzo links it to the original entry, records the reason code, and reopens the payment so the reversal is explained rather than lost.
Can we start without changing how we pay out?
Yes. Reconciliation can start with read-only transaction sources and your existing files while your current payout process keeps running.
Do AI agents move money?
No. Agents investigate and explain. Execution runs through deterministic controls, and the mandates, limits, and approvals you set govern every payment.
