What Flominzo does for finance and treasury teams

Flominzo reconciles payments for finance and treasury teams by matching your payment records, partner and settlement reports, and bank statements, and turning every difference into an owned exception. A financial day closes only when nothing is left unexplained, and the evidence behind each decision is kept.

It starts read-only, alongside the systems and spreadsheets you use today, so month-end does not have to change before the results agree. Flominzo is connected through rail adapters to the providers you use; rails, markets and activation are agreed for your deployment.

The problems finance teams run into

  • Records arrive at different times. Your platform’s records are live, partner reports arrive the next morning, and bank statements after cut-off.
  • Sources disagree. The provider’s API says paid, its settlement file leaves the payment out, and the bank shows a net amount with fees taken.
  • Month-end finds problems too late. Breaks found weeks later come without the evidence needed to resolve them.
  • Adjustments go undocumented. A write-off or manual match is made in a spreadsheet, and the reason is lost.
  • Formats change. A bank moves from MT940 to camt.053, or a partner changes a report, and the matching breaks.

How Flominzo fits

Daily reconciliationFlominzo ReconMatch payment records, partner reports, and bank statements by rule, with evidence grades that rank bank cash above provider claims.

100% reconciliation

100% reconciliation means every payment ends either matched against independent evidence - the provider’s records, the settlement file and the bank statement - or as an open exception with an owner and a reason. None is silently assumed paid.

Flominzo’s statement parsers today read ISO 20022 camt.053 and camt.052, SWIFT MT940, and configured CSV layouts. Partner CSVs and settlement reports are mapped as evidence sources, and other bank formats are assessed during scoping.

Close a day you can defend

Financial closure means the required records have been reconciled and every remaining difference has been resolved under your rules. Each decision keeps its evidence, the rule version, and the person who made it, so an auditor sees the reason, not just the result.

Agents help investigate: they gather the evidence and draft an explanation. People decide, and write-offs and settlement acceptance always need a person with the right permission.

Markets

The same approach works across the markets we focus on. Each market page describes its local rails, statement formats, and regulators. Flominzo is connected through rail adapters to the providers you use; rails, markets and activation are agreed for your deployment.

Where to start

Start with one representative financial day, including late records and adjustments. Flominzo reads your existing records and the evidence around them, and runs in parallel with your current process, so nothing changes for your team until the results agree.

  1. Map: agree identifiers, amounts, currencies, business dates, and which system owns each record.
  2. Run alongside: reconcile the same period your team already reconciles, and compare the exceptions.
  3. Decide: expand to more flows, providers, or execution once the agreed checks are met.

Questions

Do we have to give Flominzo write access?

No. Reconciliation can start with read-only access to your transaction records, partner reports, and bank statements.

How is this different from reconciling in spreadsheets?

Matching runs by versioned rule on every record, differences become owned exceptions with their evidence attached, and closure is recorded with its reason instead of living in a cell comment.

What happens when evidence arrives after we close?

The day or payment reopens with the new evidence visible and the earlier decision preserved, so nothing is silently rewritten.

Can AI agents approve a write-off?

No. Agents investigate and draft. Write-offs, settlement acceptance, and closing a day need a person with the right permission.
